  • Interesting idea! It would be nice to have smoother feedback when running.

Some cool ideas and nice visuals.
A little hard to know what to do with limited instruction. I can see how the movement caused by the balls could be very nausea inducing. What was the idea with activating the walls? I couldn't get the shield to work on the Vive, which key was the bound to?
Overall great effort!

Thanks for your comment and for playing.

Sorry about the limited instructions, I will add a tutorial in an upcoming update that describes all the content.

The shield is activated when you touch the die with your tool. You can then use the shield to fend off the balls. However, your tool will be turned into a shield, after which you can no longer activate the walls.

If you store your tool, you can activate the walls and take breaks between sprints. The walls then act as a protective shield and the balls can no longer hit you.

There's some nice ideas here, but the balls moving me through the scene make me a little too nauseous. I would also recommend not making the direction of your own movement relative to your head position. That means if you just look around while moving forward, you starting curving in the direction you're looking, which I find really disorienting. But I also don't deal well with smooth locomotion in general, so this might be perfectly fine for people who don't mind smooth locomotion.

Thanks for your comment and for playing.

I understand the problem with the balls. Here is another possibility that came to mind "Punish" players not to push him back but to slow him down. I will incorporate this in an upcoming update and give the player the choice of which option he prefers.

I had similar ideas for the controls, here would be a way to just let the player run forward when he moves the controllers. But until now I had no real idea how I could change direction, thanks to you I have it now :), if the player moves the controller left or right, you could initiate a change of direction.

Thank you :)

Really nice hand mesh! Is there any sound? I wish my index would be here by now. HTC Vive User here. I like the locomotion. Next time use TextMeshPro for your texts, its a bit blurred. Never played a game where the game pushes me away in VR Space XD

5 star rating sent, because it was sure a lot work and is fun! Thanks for your submission!

While you are here I've played yours, so please check my game out in the button below.

Thanks for your comment and feedback. The text was initially intended as a placeholder, unfortunately I then had no time to replace it. I haven't added a sound yet, but will follow after the evaluation phase. After the weekend I test your game and leave a rating.

I really like the arm swing locomotion.  Feels really good.  Your text is a little blurry, but other than that it was pretty cool.

I forgot to write, after start the movement has a delay of 5 seconds.
