In LOVE with the environment, super spooky and polished!
My headset ran out of battery and couldn't finish but want to come back and play again.

Minor quirks I ran into:
I accidentally teleported myself outside of the room and was floating above the tunnel part o_o
Going through doors is a little awkward (or maybe I'm not used to the controls), wish it would open up on it's own momentarily after I pull it versus me having to hold it open and pass through it.

Awesome job for the jam, following!!

Played on the Quest 2

Nice environment.

Not sure if the paintings puzzle was broken but the text appeared to the side of the paintings and the second number was missing so I just done all combinations with the other three to make it through.

A teleport option might have helped me on the stairs but then I played this after some other games so was already had a little of the VR stomach.

Nicely executed.

Developer

Teleport is on by default. Pull down on the right control stick.

The screenshots look very promising however the game wont display on my headset and only show on my monitor :(

(Valve Index)

I apologize - we've only tested this project on Oculus hardware.. we'll have to take the Vive/Index into consideration next time. Thanks for the heads up..

Very Cool! man this was like being transported into a mid 90's point and click puzzle game but in VR the puzzles where fun and the style was great,  some stuffy or creepy  music playing would be very imersive for this maybe some old timey talking on the radio there is some great things over on archive.org really liked this one!

Developer

Thanks! I didn't consider using archive.org.. that's a great resource. TY!

Really impressive what you were able to pack into a 72 hour game jam. The environment is top notch. I don't know if I missed the note, but I didn't know I had a backpack for a good half of the game. Luckily, I accidentally stumbled into it when I needed it most with the ladder. All the game mechanics work well! I think this is a great submission. Congrats on solid work mi amigo!

Thanks I tend to get a little obsessive over the environment before the game design, which is a flaw of mine. I'm glad to hear you made it to the ladder and figured out the backpack! TY for playing!

This was a big game. I'm absolutely terrible at escape rooms IRL and I had to put the headset down after playing a marathon of games so I only played a couple of rooms, grabbed the blue skull and walked all over the mansion with it haha.

That first puzzle with the paintings was very well done, the atmosphere was great and it did feel like I was trapped in a resident evil style mansion. I'm going to give it another go after a break from some of these games, but right from the get go I was impressed with the polish!

Developer

This is something I'm trying to work at - keeping scope small.. especially for jams! Thank you for the kind words and giving the game a shot..
