Pretty fun! A bit of a learning curve, but I love the art and it has a lot of depth! Great work!

Very cool looking art! I skipped the how to play part and was quite lost, but once you figure the mechanics it's very cool

There's a lot going on here, such an in depth potion brewing system and the art is gorgeous!

It could do with a bit more pacing - having so many mechanics from the get go is quite a lot all at once, but they're all implemented very well.

Stunning work, especially for a first jam entry!

Such amazing art! The vibes were fantastic, but I couldn't figure out how to play. The recipes for the potions and the cipher wheel seemed to be connected but I wasn't sure how :(

Haha understandable. The recipes are encoded, so you must go to the cipher wheel and find the symbol from the recipe. This will show what ingredient to grab. The colour of the symbol is also important because it tells you what temperature the fire must be on before tossing the ingredient in. Rinse and repeat for the next symbol in the recipe. After a little while, you won't need to consult the cipher anymore which is rewarding in itself!

I love the pixel art.

Wow, thanks! It's actually my first time doing pixel art, glad you like it

Looks great and really like the audio. I had a hard time figuring out how to make potions. Maybe for the first level would have been nice to make it easier with one recipe and only the cat or the plant to feed to give time to figure out what to do.  Concept works great with the theme and the idea is super interesting.

Super glad you enjoyed the game and we hear you about the difficulty. If we had more time, we would've included a tutorial, but I did my best to keep the instructions straightforward and cover all the bases in the "How to Play" section. Thanks so much for the kind words!!

It's my first time doing pixel art and it's a big learning curve so I'm thankful to hear that x

Fun concept! It got a bit repetitive towards the end, and I swear that I "missed" some potions that I brewed correctly (but my memory is horrible so it could just be that I was misremembering symbols), but the villagers had charming dialogue and I had a good time.

Thanks for your feedback! Did you happen to catch the bit in the description about the "Next Level" button not being functional as it only restarts the current level? (Because I forgot a "+ 1" in code lol) Either way, I can understand how it could be repetitive.
