I really struggled with this and did horribly. However, I definitely saw what you were going for. Great use of the theme. My only suggestion would to make the first level into a tutorial-style level where you teach what each button/concept does and how to use it.

Yep, I agree, I should've focused a bit more in the tutorial part but I had to rush a bit and tried to make it a "learn for yourself" kind of tutorial

Besides that, thank you!

Beat it in 9:25. I definitely had a couple "aha" moments playing this. It could definitely use more of a tutorial though. I was stuck in the first room for quite a while, and had to watch the walkthrough just for that level. The second room explains the snap mechanic better than the first room. Otherwise, it is really well designed. I love the pixel art, and the satisfying room-wipe transition. The jump-snap-rewind to jump over large gaps is a little tricky to master, but no jump is so difficult that it requires the utmost precision. It was a really enjoyable experience.

Thanks! Actually my idea was for the second room to be the introduction, but I thought that first time players wouldn't figure out instantly that the snaps can work as platforms, so I made that first level for that, but now I realize I was trying to solve a non-existent problem lol

Very cool mechanics and level design. The controls aren't very intuitive, but I got used to them.

I completely forgot to reply to you-

I do agree that controls may not be intuitive, I really couldn't decide which ones to use and ended up sticking with the ones I got used to at the start of the development (blame Celeste for it)

Thanks for the feedback regardless!
