btw. Not at all related to the song. Here's a suggestion.

Maybe find an image to use for your song. Not having one will make your song look unprofessional to some people. If it isn't eye-catching, you will receive less attention which means less ratings, and less comments for feedback. Your thumbnail plays a deceptively large role in how well you would do during the jam.

You can AI generate an image for free, or find one in Google images for free. For mine, I spent probably an hour finding a really neat one on google images and pinterest and then opened up pixlr to edit it for free and in my browser.

I wanted to do it, but since I posted the song, I haven't had much time to work on it. I finished the song in the last 9 hours of the jam and, to be fair, I forgot about it too. I will try to come with something and i don't like to use A.I for it. The thing is that i have been a bit busy.

Haunted spooky crystal castle vibes all over. That was great. I digged the on-the-beat marching first part of the song, with that "Stranger Things" kind of synth for the transition, as well as that banjo/harpsichord in the background. The second part was a bit weaker to me, and maybe the still heavy on the first beat bass and percussion were detrimental to giving the song a sense of contrast, failing to make it take off. It felt like it wanted to start moving coming from the first section, but it was kind of constricted, not sure how to explain it. Then there it came the ending, which to me was also very nice, with less voicings but a clearer direction. I really wanted for it to go on.

The end of the song is a loop for the first drop, i made it thinking if it was for a game.

Really enjoyed how the drumming went from the downbeat into the upbeat in the intro, and then the song takes off!  My only minor criticism I have is that I don't like the tone of the crash cymbal used, but overall the song is awesome, nice work!!

Hell yeah, a groovy song. As soon as it starts, I'm treated to a steady rythym.

It's harmony is pretty good too, it captures a perilous, threatening feeling as well as brief hope in other parts. I can imagine it playing over a crystal obstacle course.

This one immediately captures both crystal and castle. Most of the songs I've heard have this problem where they struggled to combine the two, and balance them. This one has no such issues. Strings and to capture the castle-y-ness. And the the reverby crystal sound for the crystal. As well as harpsichord, which kinda covers for both now that I think about it.

If I were to criticize it, I would say, that you could have modified the crystal with more reverby sound, and more overlaying crystal sounds to picture the castle as this massive sprawling and sparkling space. Or maybe to include more orchestral instruments, to portray a more royal vibe. But maybe that isn't what you were going for.

Great work. 👍

Yeah while i was making it kinda remembered me of Pandora Palace from Deltarune. Thanks a lot, i was really trying to create a scene if it was like a rushed castle theme for a game with lots of action, like deadcells.

For the "crystal" i was a bit scared to put a lot of reverb and don't sound like how i wanted and also because of the layer that could made it less "crystal" you know?

I realy could put more orchestral sounds, but, as i said in the other coment, i don't have that much experience and time, because i finished in the last 9 hours of the jam.

I'm wondering if you could humanise the strings more? At the moment they feel very computer like when they change note, so I think some velocity and adding a little bit of sustain at the end may help your strings. I really enjoyed the bass- it really moved the piece forward. Nice work!

Thanks for the tips man, i don't have that much experience with strings and orchestral sounds, but i will try pratice more with them. And the computer feeling could be that i used a soundfont for the strings. Actually i used in the hole track, except for the bass and drums (this one i actually krushed to sound a bit less real).
