love this, super dark vibes - everything is really well-balanced, super impressive
That was cinematic and really set a dark mood and an eerie ambiance. When the whispers came in i got goose bumps 😳Fantastic piece to listen to, nice work!
First rate sound quality, as everything I heard from you before, taking me to this abandoned wreckage of the lost spaceship Glitzerschloss, which was last seen in a mining mission at the moon of Nios... Loving so many things here: the descending synth runs, the ping pong panned kind of "scanner" sounds, the mumbling voices, and not to forget that epic electric guitar wall of sound ending, The slow and burning buildup to that point is very well done too. Beginner, you say? Been making tunes for only a year? Amazing! My hat off to you and thanks for sharing your work.
Okay first of all. Bad-ass. I think this is the first intensely dramatic song I've heard. It sounds like the soundtrack to an alien horror film. It's like I was fleeing from a xenomorph and fell into a mysterious hole, and in that hole I discovered some horrible truth.
I thought at first it wasn't going to fit very well with the theme. But later on in the sing, I think it does the best at capturing a 'crystal' vibe.
The other half of this jam's theme - castle. I'm not really feeling a vibe in that area. If you included cello, violin, strings, or something like that you could've captured the other half of the theme. Around 3:00 there's like this (flute?) but it sounds more Japanese then anything castle-royal.
heya, thank you so much for your critique! You're absolutely right on that lack of "castle" feeling and an organ instead of the flute would've really gone a long way to lean into the gothic-ish castle vibe I had in my head! I'll keep that in mind when entering for another castle track in the future, thanks again! 😁
Very dark, almost paranoid in mood. The percussion is quite nice. What sounds did you use for the timpani and such? I like the instrument that comes in a little later almost in solo. Overall a nice piece, with a different (but not bad!) vibe!
Succeeds in creating an unsettling vibe. Nice crunchy guitar rhythm at 2:55. The panning crescendoing whispers were a rather cool touch.
