I really glad everyone is liking the intro, as you know from most of my games, I love a good story.  I'm taking some notes from various comments and perhaps I will rework a little bit... add some juice as the kids say.

wow! That intro is awesome. Great game. I'd love to see it tuned up after the jam.

Likes:

+ Puppet intro cutscene really lends itself to the theme of the game and is well done

+ Interactive music is always one of my favorite things in games, and is super cool to hear in this game

+ Lots of enemies and bosses to encounter, never letting the game get too stale

Dislikes:

- The drawback to being the sumo instead of the samurai being much slower is rough. It might be better to make him only a little slower and give him another drawback compared to the samurai since otherwise it's a slog just to get to another potion

- Not a lot of reason to explore, so wading through enemies and bosses as the nearly indestructible and super powerful sumo seems like the solved (Yet slow) strategy

- Not a lot of feedback when getting hit or attacking

Fun game, and it really shows how far you've come since the first one! The use of iconography and theming keeps the whole game cohesive and creates a super unique aesthetic. It really makes me want to see more of what this world has to offer

Wow, that introduction is so neat! And the levels are really extensive with a decent set of unique stuff for each area. I like the bosses in particular (the fan one was cool) and fighting your way through to them was pretty satisfying. A few things could be improved still, like maybe a way to see enemy health or at least how close they are to dying (through animations or something like that), as well as the sword attack feeling kind of tough to use without getting hit back.

Oh and the way you incorporated the music was awesome, like how it builds more when you get close to bosses (or it transitioning perfectly from the end of the credits music to the menu theme; how in the world does that work???)

Thanks, I really like the intro as well, and the shadow puppets fit the theme nicely.  For the credits, I just kept adjusting the speed until it matched the length of the song.
