How this work got 7th out of 8 beats me. I guess more ratings would have helped. Keep going strong, Mr. C!!
The narrative here has me asking questions... lots of questions. In a short amount of time, it gives me enough info to start piecing conclusions together, but it also still leaves enough unanswered to keep me reading. You've done a solid job with presenting the concept!
This game really came together with the "not a cult" song and "hey there cthulhu" song. I'd encourage you to go even harder on the comedy throughout the game, it was great.
Loved those weird glitch effects. Less enamoured with those slide transitions though, I think it pays to be minimal with that stuff and let the imagery speak for itself.
Thank you!
The flow of the Visual Novel and the glitchy effects kind of reinforce/compliment the protag's further slide into certain revelations about 'things', as well as his mental state. Those were purposely placed at specific instances ^_-
Well, this was an experience I don't think I'll forget-
Bizarre/Surreal Visual Novels that manifest as 'weird fiction' experiences are just what we do around here.
I hope you enjoyed the free pizza!
