How does your game relate to the theme?
PolaRacers relates to polarity through its gameplay mechanics, characters, and environment. A key feature of PolaRacers is the magnets on the track which force the player to think strategically as they maneuver through obstacles to achieve the fastest time possible. Magnets relate to polarity by a physical definition. The characters, Penny the Penguin and Polo the Polar Bear represent polarity as they are small and big respectively and you can swap between them for advantages and disadvantages. Also, the two levels take place in the North Pole and South Pole, reinforcing the theme of polarity.

We had to replace one of our programmers over halfway through the jam because he was ghosting us. The new programmer just added the main menu.

I think it's a really cute and charming game. I feel like you have to play the levels first before you can know if there's a north or south pole thing to attract you which made me have to constantly retry :x Overall I had fun and I really like the cute concept of a polar bear and penguin haha.

I like it, at first I used wasd and the "C" and "X" button where hard to reach, then I switched to arrow keys and that was much better, The graphics were good, I especially loved it when I first pressed "X" and the penguin was on top, also the scarf was a nice addition, There seems to be no sound or music however, but I understand it's hard for making this just under 3 days, The game made me think back of some very old skying games I played back on my commodore 64, that's a nice nostalgic feeling, the parallax background and the snow particles make it a bit more immersive, overall your team did a good job, Keep it up! :)
