30 deaths. Would have liked  quicker respawns with the trail and error but fun overall. It has that "I will not let this game beat me" feeling.

Developer

Indeed ! We hoped to reach that, since the player wouldnt feel motivated without that feeling, so it's nice to see that it's there. About the checkpoints, we were supposed to make them at each little section, like in celeste, but we didnt have time. But Thank you :) !

Think this would be cool if when you died you could see a quick glimpse of the traps so that its not all trial and error. Surprisingly really chill vibes though very happily sat and played because it felt nice.

Thank you ! Yeah, that's actually a great idea. The music my friend made really gives an ambiance I must admit Btw I love the game you made :)

I like the concept of learning more every time you die but this is also low key giving me cat Mario flash backs :') But I kind of like the frustration type games especially the guessing of which platform is the trap. Also great job on the visuals

Developer

Thank you ! I too love this kind of frustration, super meat boy and celeste trained me for that. Yeah, cat mario, that game almost scared me when I was a kid I don't know why... Thanks for taking a look at our game :) !

The visuals are awesome!! And the concept fits the theme well, I was just going to suggest some more checkpoints at the start but looks like it was already mentioned :)

Developer

Yeah, we didnt have time to implement them, but it was on our list. Anyway, thank you !

I don't really like the idea that you have to rely on trial and error in order to make some progress, and i'd had made the player character a bit faster. Other than that this is a really solid entry, i really liked the art and the music!! Good Job, Fellow Robot Companion!!

Yeah, on paper, it seemed fun, but in practice, we needed good level design to make it less frustrating, which we didn't really achieve... Thank you, my friend did an amazing work on the music yeah, and I'm quite proud of the visuals, even if some assets don't really fit :) !

I really liked the graphics and the concept! The particle effect trailing off of the player is also really good! Maybe there could have been some checkpoints towards the start so you didn't have to repeat yourself as much, either that or making the player faster so they can get back to where they died sooner. The foreground and background  had the same colour pallet so maybe the background could have been faded too. Other than that, this was really cool platformer!

Developer

Yeah, I understand every of your points, we ran out of time and I didn't have access to the project so less progress could be made. Anyway, thank you for your feedback, and I'm glad you find my art cool :) !

Awesome visuals! :D

Thank you, but it's mostly because of post processing :)!
