Like others have already said, sorry about the level 7 jumping issue, my game came with a crashing error if you enter a specific square in the Easter egg room (and possibly a similar spot in a level) so I get the pain. Loved your pixel art, I think some more time polishing animations and adding more levels is what you need and it'll be rad!
The Game is a cool puzzle-platformer game
I like the puzzles and the way you cant cheat your way by dropping to the hole and respawning(if the button is far away and the spike is behind a door next to the spawn). Also good is that getting hit by enemies actually matters and it makes the game into a puzzle like game.
I couldnt play further than level 7 because i couldnt jump, but the other levels are good too.
I also found out that in level 5 or 6 (the level where you could push the button at the spawn and open the door next to you), that you could get on the door when it goes up, which could make for more vertical levels, or secret ways(1 way where you can platform and 1 way where you could jump from on the door)
The Pixel art for the game is amazing, though the walking animation feels kind of awkward. It doesn't feel very creative though, as it seems like it just essentially followed what was said in the theme announcement of making the goal a spike.
Also, for some reason on Level 7, I wasn't able to jump, so I couldn't get far into the game.
If you decide to continue working on it, I would suggest polishing the walking animation and letting players use space to jump(unless space is for something else later).
The visuals are amazing, the platforming is simple but fun to play. Music and character design also fit the environment really well. I especially enjoyed the parallax background!
