Pretty cool, my only complaints would be the sfx are a little loud, and sometimes I got to the end without being killed but had to kill myself in order to get the platforms. Definitely in tone with the jam's theme, but it was a little frustrating to be able to get past the obstacles only to have to end myself to unlock the platforms.

Great job though, game jams are tough to get everything you want on time. I love how the two of them are brothers fighting each other, though, that was especially cool.

Please check my game out if you get the chance!

The WebGL Version is broken on my computer.

I have had this happen to fix it you open up the game in Unity Editor (like normal)

Then File - Build Settings - Player Settings - Open up the Publishing Settings - Go to Compression Format - Change the format to Gzip

Edit: Wow I really liked the story. Although (Like everyone else has said) the text is really fast.

Thanks for the tip! It should work now. (At least in Microsoft Edge - For some reason I can't play unity games from the jam in Chrome.)

this game is a hidden gem. I hope more people get to rate and play this game! also great first time jam submission! my only suggestion is to give the player some time to read the dialogue. Right now it's a bit overwhelming having to read 2 different texts and also play at the same time.

Congrats again!

Thank you! I realize that I probably should have slowed it down. It was probably me being in a hurry trying to make it and playtesting like a speedrunner.

This is soooooo underrated! Dialogue was great, but I got stuck on one of the levels.

Thanks. If you are referring to the right corner of the second level, I probably should have blocked it off. But failing is progress, so you got somewhere at least!

Hahaha this is great! The dialogue was great, this was a really clever idea. I liked the vertical orientation :) Great job!

Edit: I think you should flush out the game for a full release. Polish the art and the dialogue and this would be a great full game :)

Much thanks, though I'm not sure if I'll have the determination to keep working on it after the jam. I just looked back at it and realized the organization of the art/code/sound/etc. looks like spaghetti. I haven't really fully "completed" any game I've made.

It's a tough thing, it feels like the amount of work to finish a game just kind of stretches out forever it seems :D

This was a lot of fun! I definitely enjoyed the dialogue - the rivalry was quite entertaining. I would like to say, however, that sometimes the siblings talk at the same time and it becomes a bit tough to keep track of the dialogue. Apart from that, though, the game was really good. I am quite impressed with how much logic must have gone into each level for you to pull this game off!

Thank you! Just two arrays (one for actions -  like dialogue or flying spikes, and one for time in between (-1 for wait for trigger)) and some head-scratching.
