Thank you so much for playing and for the feedback!
I don't blame you for the brute-force, especially in a jam where you're trying to play as many games as possible! I'm glad you had a good time, I've got a few ideas of things to add similar to the swap tile, so I'm hoping to have a full game eventually!
Cheers :D
Thanks for playing! I'm glad you enjoyed the puzzles :)
Yeah, unfortunately I only had 48 hours when I started, and a lot of that time was spent programming (not the fastest worker).
Totally agree I should've added a tutorial, but unfortunately that was a sacrifice I chose to make in order to make more levels.
The text thing I'm not sure how to fix, but thanks for the note!
Thanks again for playing! :D
Nice and simple, looks great too! Unfortunately for me sometimes I just wouldn't be able to add an ingredient, the only way to fix the bug was to submit what I already had? My only real complaint would be the sound effect, which I thought was a bit harsh.
All in all, really good submission, well done!! :)
Great art style, really dug the music, too. I'm a sucker for strategy games, my only problem with this one was that I couldn't really tell how much cover was benefitting me, and also that in a lot of levels it didn't seem to matter where I put my dudes.
However, this is an impressive submission, well done! :)
I thought this was great, really good addictive fun, and I really dig the art style. My only complaint is that it gets a bit repetitive, and that it was a little hard for me to read what my next rotation would lead to (perhaps a tetris-style icon would help with this?).
Well done on a successful submission! :)
Really good, juicy fun. My high score was 17. I will say, I think the controls in the description are the wrong way around? (unless I misinterpreted) I love how forgiving the hitboxes are, that definitely adds to the fun and I think it was a great choice especially for a jam game. My only complaint would be that there didn't feel like there was any strategy to my decisions. Maybe if moving took up more stamina the further you traveled, so you were forced to be efficient with your moves?
Either way, great job!!
Thanks for playing and for the feedback! I actually played Onward Blocks during the GMTK jam, I totally get that comparison! Yeah I completely forgot to give some player feedback for the switch in-game. I totally get your confusion over the immediate action button, however, the actual purpose for it is to get actions off last minute (before your opponent). This allows you to block just before being attacked, or get off a second block (thus gaining a Deflect) to quickly deflect a fire attack.
Thanks again for playing! :)
Great game, very charming, played the whole thing. Extremely polished and impressive for a game made only in 5 days! (SPOILERS) Although I chuckled at the twist, I was a bit burned by the fact that there was no boss fight after all, I would have enjoyed a final mini game to play as a reward for getting through the 10 years. Overall a really solid submission, great job!
Lots of replayability and really good difficulty curve! Love the shop and its upgrades, and the movement felt really fluid! My only complaints the repetitive music and also I couldn't see how the limitation 'Boss' was applied. However, I think your use of 'On the Edge' was quite inventive. Great job!
Really enjoyed this one, the art style and general theme especially! My only criticisms would be that there's no way of putting down what you're holding (so sometimes I was forced to wait for someone to want what I had), and also navigating became tricky with all the collidable objects. Besides this, I had a great time!
I think this game was pretty fun, I played a few runs, and spent more time on it than I do with most jam games. But I will say, starting on 1hp, whilst an interesting direction to go in, I found to be quite frustrating. The healing of the balls was just too low, and mixed with the RNG of plinko I eventually gave up unfortunately :( However this is a great, polished submission. Well done!
