Love the visuals! Would put the background to more of a dark grey. Also I think yout game would benefit greatly from some audio. :D
Visuals are quite nice, but I'd choose a different color for the background. Movement's okay, but I think this game would be controlled better with a mouse. And a better tutorial would avoid confusion among the players
Yeah maybe mouse controls would be better but I feel like WASD is a bit more intuitive (probably because I play lots of FPS game). I was going for a laser / retro look so I chose black, what color would you suggest the background be instead?
And I completely agree, a tutorial would be nice where popups explained the controls and mechanics, I'll try to add that next time.

As I think about it, I would probably make some background "animation" or something and not a static color... Similar to the background of this game Thomas Brush made (The video is set to exact time, so it should start at the time where he plays the game)
When I have time I'll watch the full video, but yeah the animated background looks great! Thanks for the suggestion, I'll mess around with it next time. Did he use 3d to make the animation?
This is a great game!
I love the fact that you need to rush killing yourself to spawn more balls, but than you make the game harder for you. Nice high risk high reward gameplay.
Audio would make it more complete, but I understand you ran out of time that's ok

Dang, I only got to 139 but that was really fun! Idk what else to say, it was really well made and polished, the gameplay was amazing, and it was fun. Actually, maybe you could add some sound effects or sound, that would be pretty cool too. But besides that, really nice job and well made! It also fit the theme perfectly too!

Yeah I ran out of time to make sound or clean up the UI but I plan on adding it after the jam is over :)
