Cool concept, but in the current implementation there's not so much of strategy. Visually the game is very nice

Very juicy, I love the different quirks of the characters. :)
I really liked that. Fun mix between management and action, and I really liked how you pushed the uniqueness of the two characters. Lots of health for melee combat, or little health and fearful movements for the mage. Definitely worth adding to after the game in my opinion!
Lovely visuals and sound, everything feels crisp and crunchy, I only have one suggestion and that's to describe each of the characters' personalities and maybe show what actions they're most likely to take from a certain position? I think it could have emphasized the connection to the jam theme and eliminated guess work in the player's commands.
Also, I have to ask, is the title of this game a Fate reference by any chance?
Have to admit, despite being a huge fan of the fate franchise, can't say I consciously made that reference! ^^'
Definitely could've explained the actions a little more, but as mentioned in a reply to another comment below, had to cut down on some stuff I was hoping to include. No doubt even a small prompt could've made it a lot clearer, which is obvious in hindsight!
I love the art! 😍
Maybe warrior attack is a bit slow, but i think that this project has potential!
Keep working on it! Good Work! 😊
Idk if I'm stupid, but I don't see how this fits the theme, are the attacks random or something?
I can't deny that the way I see it fitting is a bit of a reach, but... The player NPCs have small different "personality quirks" in terms of how they react to actions/events. So while you control where they go, there's still things they will do that will help you or stuff that you'll have to work around, thus the "collaborating" part. They aren't abundant, but given there's a limit to what one can do in a jam after all, I had to cut some stuff I hoped I would've been able to add.
I generally have trouble coming up with very fitting games for jam themes, so no hard feelings
Really cool and creative game, I really like the artstyle! Good job!
