This is definitely one of my favorite games of this jam and I definetly want to see more of this!
The concept is really nice and I could see some great Puzzles in the future.
Only negative point I'd have, is that the robot could react a bit faster. It's perfect how it is rn and adds to the charm, but can be a bit annoying to have this delay after pushing a button.
Additionally to that, I'd like to have some hotkeys on the keyboard that do the exact same things as the mouse buttons, so that you dont necissarily have to click on the screen anymore. But thats just a small idea I have, nothing necissary.
Anyways, I had a lot of fun, thanks for making this! ^^
Thanks 🥰 Glad to hear it!
And thanks for tips!
This. Is. Beautiful. I have some constructive feedback but I don't even care. Just looking at it is mouthwatering. Amazing. Love every inch.
In case YOU care about the feedback, I just thought it was a little difficult to tell which line the key was on in the final stage (I tried to get it on the middle layer first). The robots are clear because of their shading, but I'm not sure how you could achieve the same result for the key thing (different shades won't stand out so much when there's only one orange on screen...). Having to click the buttons also made the timings a little difficult particularly when I was lining up to switch layers, I suspect using keys or controller buttons wouldn't be so problematic, but otherwise there may need to be larger on-screen buttons?
Again, beautiful work.
Really apprecieted!
Thanks for tips! 🥰 i'll treasure it!
This is amazing, I loved the squirrel animation, especially the eyes when the robots move xD. Very solid entry ^^
cute game, i always like a game that can be played with just the mouse. wish robots were lil faster but still rly fun
Extremely strong submission to the game jam. Super cute art, simple and fun game play. Amazing work!
This is great! The artstyle is really good and the concept and execution are solid! Great work
I love this so much, this game feel super alive with all the little animation and interaction with the robot and it incredible graphic. It is such a clever mechanic you made there with multiple layer of ground. I would like to see it go far and having a proper release, maybe then with some platformer mechanic with higher ground and jumping from robot to robot.
Glad to hear it!
Thanks 🥰
The squirrel is super cute and it's such a nice touch that it bonks the bots' faces to activate, very charming little point and click.
Thank you 🥰
Ohh, I loved the art so much! It's super cute and the color scheme so nice and calm!
The game controls fit right in to me, I liked that the AI would react a bit delayed when telling them to stop moving.
If I was going to point out one thing that could become a bit tedious when playing through many levels, it would be that the AI robots could move a little faster (still react as slow with the controls as you have it right now). That would increase difficulty a little while making it feel a bit less slow.
Overall my favourite so far... ! (ngl you had me with the squirrel and colours <3)
oh, really glad to hear it! 🥰
I need to fix much things including robots speed 😅
I've planned a post jam long version, so stay tuned 😎
Cute pixel art, good music on the backgriund. It's funny simple game, thank you!
Thanks mate, sadly this is just a prototype 😅
I will update with more contents in the future! 😎
Very cute!
I was confused at first, because at my first start up nothing happened when the squirrel hit the robot…
some tips:
I love the look of the game! This is definitely a solid base you can build on :)
Thanks for all the feedbacks! 😎
Incredibly adorable minimalist pixel art. The idea for the game is cool, and the atmosphere was great. I'd love to see this expanded on!
Thanks mate 🥰
The whole artistic direction was beautifully done! Well done! only downside was the lack of content. However it was very good! Great stuff
U've right! Glad you enjoyed it! 🥰
Like i said to another user, unfortunately for the time I have not been able to insert everything I wanted so it is practically a prototype 😅
The atmosphere is awesome! Graphics and music are really great and the squirrel is really cute :3 I had strong Limbo vibes from it ^^
Sadly, the game is really lacking in terms of gameplay, you mostly wait on slow moving platforms right now. But I believe you plan on working on it post jam, right? If so, here are my 2 cents on what you could improve:
I'm really curious about what the game can become, because even though it's flawed right now, I feel it has great potential!
Hope to hear about it in the future :D
Glad you enjoyed it! 🥰
Like i said to another user, unfortunately for the time I have not been able to insert everything I wanted so it is's more to show off the capabilities of the game!
Speed and precision of the bots are the first goals, i might even change all the control system.
All sound design it has to be redone. Also the UI System need a fix/change 😅
Stay tuned for updates. 🥰
looks good and sounds good but no fun
it needed some more action (not like guns and paw paw i mean it needed more movement)
Thanks for the feedback! 🥰 Like i said to another user, unfortunately for the time I have not been able to insert everything I wanted so it is practically a prototype. It's more to show off the capabilities of the game!
Looks great, sounds great, and feels very polished. You could probably make this into a full game if you wanted to expand on it. Nice work!
Thanks mate! 😄
1. outstanding tutorial: simple levels to slowly introduce mechanics.
2. nice post processing and art in general
3. juicy UI
4. good music
5. nice compact experience
definitely give this a try.
well done :)
I really am glad you enjoyed it , thanks 🥰
I really liked the art and color palette ! Music was well chosen and gives the game a nice atmosphere. The robot's sound is a bit annoying as it lasts. However, I found the gameplay not very interesting as it's not really fast and not really puzzles either. May be have some levels with fast action and some with puzzles ? I'd like to see a story that you could add with this ambiance :)
First of all thanks for the feedback 🥰
Unfortunately for the time I have not been able to insert everything I wanted so it is practically a prototype.
The project needs more element in scene to be a engaging puzzle.
I've choose to do a "slow series of learn-by-doing levels" to show how game work and what potentially u can do in a eventually full project(more bots, bots with different skills, multilayer interactions, ecc.) .
The rhythm of the game is too slow, u have right, but i dont wanna do a hyper-fast puzzle game: this is chill/cinematic oriented.
I'm developing the story, at the moment i've got a bunch of ideas in progress. U will discover it 😉
Ok, so it was more to show off the capabilities, got it ! Please let me know when your next version is out, I'll be happy to play it :)
Great pixel art palette !
Thanks mate 🥰
