using AI to generate beautiful backgrounds like this is genius! i really liked the story too - it was quite intense for a 5 minute-or-so playthrough. great job!

Developer

Thank you, I hope to improve on the gameplay part on further projects or when I'm able to rework this one. :D

Glad to hear you liked my little goatee girl. xD And thanks for the tip. Will look for 4 liners. I was thinking I reworked every one, guess I missed some...

Nice game for a game jam, but didn't fit the theme really well

Developer

Happy to hear you liked it anyway and I'm sorry you didn't feel it fitted the theme. I though working to get an robot to get better and using ai-generated images could be pretty fitting after reading: "We use the loosest definition of "AI" possible, so it can basically be anything but a human. A bot, an npc, a machine, an algorithm etc. You can interpret this theme in whatever way you want. Apply it to your game OR your workflow or both if you want to. Your AI can be as smart or stupid as you please." ^^

OH YEAH I FORGOT THE AI CAN BE AS SMART AS WE CAN, I'm so sorry man, great job on your game

Very interesting project. Would be interesting to know what text you put into the AI image generator.

I think the binary dialog was a little too much, cause I guessed the plot twist by that.

Developer

Thank you, and I can't recall it exactly but somethign similar to "little girl with gas mask and a disguised robot wearing a black robe with it's face hidden in an apocalyptic world, hyperrealistic, pixelart, dark" or so xD

Submitted(+1)

First thing first I loved the graphic and I tought it could have been made by some AI software, and indeed it was! It really helped with the immersion, as well as the soundtrack. Second thing I HAD to play it again because I was thinking there might be 2 different endings! :D

Developer

Sorry to have failed you, but multiple endings are indeed a nice feature for a next game or an improved version of this one.

Submitted

You didn't fail me! I really had a great time and I liked the twist (plus it's a 3 days jam)! ;)

Nice use of AI generated art, I especially liked when it zoomed out to a large environment

Developer

Yeah, so glad I got to put that one in. And glad to hear you enjoyed it. :D

Submitted(+1)

I know it was AI generated but the design of the robot looked so badass.

Developer

Thanks for liking the art. :D

Nice game!

The sound of the robot really scared me >.<

Developer

Challenge accomplished then I guess. :D Thanks for playing the game and leaving me some nice feedback.

...I thought this was going to be a human-and-robot bonding in the apocalypse sort of deal.  I'm very very sad now.  T_T  In all seriousness, the art was great and so eerie.  I don't mind all the dialogue, I thought it was well written (especially for a three-day jam; as someone who also did a VN for this jam, getting dialogue and story right in such a short timeframe can be daunting).  I'd love to see this expanded into a full-length game (maybe with a less sad ending, though.  I'm not letting that go.  xD).

Submitted(+1)

Holy shit the ending was sad. I enjoyed this game a lot

Developer

Appreciate your feedback, thank you for playing. :D

I liked your idea, but there are really a lot of text. Graphic is good!

Developer

Thanks for playing, sorry for the huge amounts of text, I started to write a story for a point and click and somehow it ended up beeing more a visual novel. xD

(+1)

I like point and click! I want you to finish this game:)

(+1)

Too much dialogues, nice art and music. I believe that you continue develop your project. Good luck!

Developer

Thank you for playing and I'm happy to hear you liked the art and the music. It ended up being a visual novel so, that's why the lot amounts of text. ^^

short and sweet

Developer

Thank you, glad to hear you liked it. ^^

Developer (1 edit)

Thank you! :D

Cool AI generated art and finally a point & click game. The intro was a bit long though

Developer(+1)

Thank you,  I see someone who appreciates and old school clicker. ^^

Sorry about the long intro, after 2 days of making the game mechanics, I only hat the last night left for story and gameplay and wasn't able to cut it down further, given the time.

Submitted(+1)

Nice story. Gave me Salad Finger vibes :D

Submitted(+1)

The intro was a little long, but overall the story was quite intriguing and the ai generated art was great! Gave me chills at the end.. that's gotta mean something

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing and enjoying the game though.
I'm happy the ending had an impact. :D
