Thank for the long review!
About the theme: I first started with a dungeon crawler where you move the dungeon (the map) and the player stays in a fixed position but it lacked something, so I just create a spherical dungeon instead of a flat one and choose to move it with the table. So you move the "world" and the player is in a fixed position.
Yep you did it well, it's a game about control and not rolling fast, but if it takes too long you'll find the dungeon crowded with enemies!
Wow! This is problably one of the best game I've played so far, the concept is simple but deep, there is a little bit of skill needed for the aiming part which, the cool fetch/come mechanic and the puzzle design is really interesting, not to hard to be frustrating but enough to let you think a little bit about it and then feel clever when solved.
I reached the end and I wanted to play more! So great job!
Ps: Plus I really liked I could pet the dog for a little boost of confidence! :D
Hi there! I really liked your game! We had a similar idea of blocking the AI path with obstacles and I'm really happy that I could try your game!
The only little problem I found is that once I placed the rocks, there was no way to remove them, neither clicking nor resetting the level (don't know if it's like this for all levels, it happened only in one of the levels with two vacuum cleaners).
Plus I don't know if it's intentional but some level could be solved in a different way and with less blocks that the one it looks it is supposed to be resolved, but maybe it's good that there are different solutions:
Anyway these are minor things, I had a lot of fun!! Great job!
Thank you adonis!! And you are right about the features: I also tought about dragging tiles (transitions and assets aren't there only because I run out of time :D ). I didn't think about the "go" button tough, actually you are right, maybe I can swap it with a "give me a hint" for the harder levels. Thanks for the hints! I love jams for this suggestions
Wow you are right! Thanks for that, I didn't notice it! From the comments I also found out that level 7 is the hardest, I'll fine tune them but at least for the jam if someone got stuck can cheat and reach the end (level 10). I thought of giving the player the chance to get some help with the levels if needed and maybe give just a lower score. Next time!
