Very nice game. I like the visuals, controls and that comic style you used in it. It's really really good. The only thing I'm sad about that it's so short and lacks ending.

This was quite a bit of fun! Got kinda stuck on the last regular level and had to read through the comments here to get that shift was a thing, but really really enjoyed this. Would love to maybe see more levels in the future.

My only 5 star in fun so far.
It's a really great mechanic, with quite good levels! It's just a shame there are so few of them..
The depth on the visuals makes it look really interesting!

This game is really cool!  At first I was confused by the controls, but once I got to the second screen, I was like, "Oh.  So that's why the keys were xkcd.  Nice!"

This is a pretty clever game, and quite well designed.  It's very simple, but takes the player up step by step through each level.  My biggest complaint is the fact that . . . well, it ends!  You do such a great job setting up the puzzle's controls, and then the game is over!  It feels like you wanted to have more, but didn't have time.

I very much enjoyed this.  It's well designed, feels good to play, has nice little xkcd strips as its backdrop--this game rocks.  I'd love to see a longer, post-jam version of this; the game is so good that it almost demands to be expanded.  Great job on this. :)

Thank you for taking the time to play, Naomi. Glad you liked it.

I also wanted to implement much more in the game, there are many more puzzles and additional mechanics that just didn't get the time for implementation :)

This is fantastic! I love each time you play the keys are different too. :D The subtle parallaxing on each panel adds so much! The motion and controls on the drone are really great.

Nice puzzle! A clever mechanic, with cool ideas on every level. Plus, it's not too punitive, I like it. I only had issues on the last level (before the bonus one), where it took me time to figure out I could press shift (maybe I missed a hint, it was a total blind guess).

I also like how 2D pictures are used within a 3D perspective. It's a really nice touch!

Developer

Thanks Itooh! We had come across this with a small user test during development, but never fully solved the problem with that puzzle (the spatial letters of some puzzles, when not arbitrary, can provide a hint to the puzzle itself ;) )

Nice concept and well executed - and actually quite fun to play! I'd love to see what you can do with a realistic deadline :)

I love it. The art, music, and game play is top-notch. You really should be proud of this, this is fantastic work. (There was a drone stuck in a tree in my neighborhood for awhile so I laughed at this) I honestly couldn't offer any suggestions, as it is complete as is. Bravo sir. bravo.

This game is brilliant! I'm loving it. Fun and, of course, beautiful. Well done!

Developer

Thank you! We really wanted to implement 3D models for the panels but game jam time constraints played a big part in the final graphics sourced directly from the comics

Dang I loved it. Been thinking of new ways to use the keyboard in gaming and you showed it! Wow just Wow! Anyway one thing I do want to mention is I'm doing a review of design on the games in this jam so here's a shameless plug to my channel if you want to be notified of the vid when released: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC7Vj46GGL9VMUvd4YTMtjXg

Thanks for the kind words, I'm glad you enjoyed it. It was fun to riff on the idea.

I had come across your Mario design review last week, good content that I hope you keep up!

Ha neat to see my "sort of advertising is starting to work XD"
