Good game, you can tell that there is work behind it, I love that there are hidden areas, in general I thought it was a great game, my only complaint is the hitboxes, but otherwise everything is good, good job!
Excellent game. I really liked the art and animations. The gameplay was fun too. Not very many games incorporated melee combat so yours stood out. I think the level design could use some tweaking. I got soft locked anytime I went through the hidden path to the chest. Also, a better checkpoint system would have helped prevent the game from feeling tedious. Overall, well done. I'd love to see more.
Good game! I 100% agree with the previous comment on hitboxes, the feeling of fairness in that kind of game is what makes or breaks them.
I'm not into rage games so I'm not the right audience, but I liked there was some combat and also hidden areas. You've put some effort into the game and it really shows.

Nice job. There are definitely some cool ideas here.
My biggest gripe is that the hit-boxes on the spikes are brutally huge, and that they instant kill you. I didn't get very far In the game because I got really tired of the spikes feeling unfair. You can see the visual/hotbox discrepancy in this screenshot. I would adjust the hitboxes and make them damage you instead of kill you.
