I loved the crab fight most of all! The art is cool, it would of been nice to know when i killed one of the bosses but still good job :)
Game was visually pretty polished but it clearly lacked playtesting. First of all I don't know was the 'die to switch element' gimmick even needed, or could manual switching been better for the game. Also I think some enemies were harder than actual bosses, and overall difficulty curve wasnt polished enough. On the other hand game was pretty long and had many elemental powers and bosses etc... which is kinda unnecessery for a jam game. Maybe try to focus on polishing smaller game next time than doing lots of content:

Very fun top-down magic shooter! I like the lighting effects, and the bosses are very well fleshed-out in terms of attack patterns! Some feedback I have is there not being animations and sounds for lots of things (like damage), but that's understandable considering the time. That and sometimes when dying to spikes, it's really easy to die again and switch elements more than you want to. (perhaps a slight pause could help with that). I love paper-like style for the bosses, very endearing! Overall, a great game! I hope this game places highly in the jam!
cool idea, however i was a bit confused with the role the elements played.
Very impressive in both length and polish, especially for only having a week to work on it! I really liked the element-based combat, and liked how there was no penalty for dying aside from going back to a checkpoint. I think some attacks could be telegraphed better, such as the earth elemental summoning rocks around me, but most of that stuff just needs some minor tweaks. That would also give you some room to make some attacks hit harder and be a little more punishing. But I'm nitpicking, you did a fantastic job!
