I can't get far in this one! I did read the tutorial and I understand how to play, but actually succeeding is an entirely different story. There's so much going on and so many enemies showing up at once, then a single bird can wipe out my whole dice pool because I can't roll above a two. Is there a way to recover if you fall behind on dice? Some sort of catch up mechanism? But I feel like, even if I had infinite gold D20's I'd still run the risk of getting overwhelmed by the sheer numbers that come at me all at once!

Thanks a bunch for trying my game out! It for sure needed more time in balance, I wanted to have a full day dedicated to that but ran out of time and so had to quickly try to make it somewhat workable with only a couple of hours of balance. The way it is right now requires a bit of luck, the white bordered enemies that spawn are extremely easy to kill and drop 5 high value dice to recover really quickly. The village was also intended to help feed you a bit more of a dice pool over time and probably could have respawned it's pickup a bit faster, or even multiple of them. One of my goals was to have it feel a little chaotic like some rts games can be, but even after slowing the pacing down by half it probably needed to be chopped down a lot more or at least given a much slower tutorial level or something aha xD But thanks again for playing and leaving a comment!
