I dunked completely ahahah. Thank you, I did study breakdowns of japanese music theory and some specifically of Joe Hisaishi to understand why his work is a masterpiece. I'm not even close, but using some quartile voicings, jazz chords with added color notes and things like that really helped sell the emotions I wanted to convey, with the same aesthetic. So it's a big compliment thank you!
