Awwww yeah! This is fantastic!! The production quality is insane for a one-person game, especially for your first jam!! Either the shooter part or the platforming bit would've been impressive on its own, but together it just blows my mind. The movement in both sections is snappy and satisfying, and would be more than enough to carry the game even without such a hilarious, off-the-wall plot to drive it along!

Everything starts out so delightfully ridiculous it's impossible not to get sucked in. Being recruited by God(!?), The Pickle Mafia, and Elliot's bemused sarcastic commentary keep things lighthearted even as Elliot finds himself in increasingly harrowing situations. Despite the absurdity there's a thread of sincerity that's surprisingly affecting, and I found myself genuinely wanting to see how everything was going to come to a close... which got me through some of those really tricky parts!

Great experience, I had a ton of fun!! The charm, the polish, the secrets, all knock it out of the park for me. I'd love to see how Elliot's story ends if you decide to finish it!! :D

Thank you soooooo much for this comment, it made me really happy! I beginned game dev this year and found a new passion in life, in a time that, for me, has been plagued by doubt. Seeing such positive feedback motivates me a lot :)

As I was writting the story, I felt the need to put something more personal amidst all that chaos, and I'm glad it kept you motivated to finish the game. I had a plan to combine the top-down and platforming in the final level with gravity swapping as you play with Elliot's dad. I actually programmed it and it exists in the game, but I wasn't able to finish the last level due to time constraints. I will surely go back to this project as soon as I get more time!
