Uh, i see.. this must be a regression as i fixed that bug some time ago. Let me check in this days and i'll wirte you back. Would you please open an issue on github?

Thanks! Also,would you check if there is an unchecked checkbox in the export dock widget? I think one of the changes in 1.7 was to add that option there to export individual previews

Okay. There is a preview checkbox in the export tab on the right panel. I did check it, and use the "export to" button, that worked perfectly. The preview image is properly cropped. Also note, that I used the icon up top that looks like a video player with a white button. That is the one that does not crop the image properly

Now that i think of it, when added multiple texture support in 1.7, i changed the behaviour of that tool button.. it was supposed to crop the image to the smallest possible containing all textures.. but obviously its not working.. ill fix it for 1.8.. thanks for reporting the issue!
