How do I use the whirlpools?

Whirlpools can be used with another aquatic transformation.

One of the library books has some hints on it as well the buyable hints for tfs in the beginning forest.

I suppose the Mermaid Tower hint refers to mermaid? Otherwise, I can only think of the one mentioning the pearl as aquatic TF.

Yes the pearl is needed for it and the tower is also involved with it. You are on the right track with that.

I don't know how to get past this and to the chests. I've taken a screenshot to plan my route, but every time I run into an issue where I need to pull instead of pushing.

Where is the guy for Bigger Assets quest?

In town in the central plaza at night, outside near the potion shop.

The quest has the location added in later version to make it more clear as well.

I've checked the books in the library, but didn't find the hint.

Figured out, what the trick was, but can't make this work. Always trap the MF with two boxes.

You did find the pearl in the the warehouse, right? The one book about the pearl mentions where it needs to be taken to. Hope that helps.

Oh, you're right that is impossible. My mistake, must have made a mistake, will look that up and fix it if neccecary, thanks^^
