I think the attacking was a bit too conveluted, I ended up just mashing it to try get em and couldn’t get anywhere. Tried playing a few times but just kept losing early one. The 2D art is nice, I like the idea and the theme usage is good but I think the gameplay could be improved and tweaked a good bit.
My main feedback would be to keep things like that simpler when you only got 2 days, the game lacks alot of polish in regards to the UI and gameplay. Not sure how the intro cinematic goes but if it’s based off a timer I would have some sort of indication or button to advance because I thought my game had frozen. With menus its also good to add a small bit of responsiveness when you’re hovering over a button to let me know it can be clicked and do something, felt like just a flat image. I can die but there is no health bar etc
Just giving all this feedback because it looks like 6 of you worked on the game, so I am assuming there was alot of work put in and you have something cool here, it is just very hard to actually experience any of it due to the final entry being a bit too rough and the fighting not feeling very good I just kept getting my ass whooped.
