I'll have to assume that this "Angry Rhombus" is just another piece of Ariral Technology, Since it's very similar to their "Warp Arrows", I just don't get why is it so aggressive towards you

doubt it, if it was ariral tech the laser would probably be blue, i don't think this thing is implied to be anything from the aliens we've seen in the game yet

Yeah, I'll have to admit that this "Ariral Technology" thing is quite dumb, but that's the least I could do since I still haven't found Angry Rhombus on my Save, Maybe it is a Reference to Neon Genesis Evangelion, as Raccoonnaissance stated

even if it was from arirals, i have no idea why they would build something like that, doesn't make much sense
plus this thing seems very similar to a "geom", a type of "entity" that was cut in earlier versions (at the time it was just left over dev cubes and spheres and stuff nose forgot to remove) jokingly called an entity/alien, i suppose it could be an actual kind of entity now and this is what this thing is

It is a Geom. If you see something that is a weird white geometric shape with red lights, it is very likely a Geom.

I definitely can see it. When it opens up, it does look like a warp arrow's thruster area. Maybe it's red and violent because it's the potentially evil clan of arirals that are hinted at with one of the posters?

It's definitely a Possibility, as it is similar in nature to the "Red Eggs" you can also see in the Forest sometimes, which could imply that those things are working together (Take this "theory" with a grain of salt, I'm not sure if the Red Eggs are Intentional or not)

They are, this is actually yet another reoccurring alien faction (though, they won't be story important like the others) called Geoms.
