So, it makes this beeping noise that you can hear from across the map. My friend said it's the antlion alarm noise from Half Life 2.
I call it the "angry rhombus", because I do not know if it has an official name. It was wandering in the fenced zone just past the river with radioactive barrels in it.
It opens up.
Fair to note that this was before midnight.
Sorry that I didn't have more screenshots or think to record this. Anybody else run into this freaky box?
doubt it, if it was ariral tech the laser would probably be blue, i don't think this thing is implied to be anything from the aliens we've seen in the game yet
even if it was from arirals, i have no idea why they would build something like that, doesn't make much sense
plus this thing seems very similar to a "geom", a type of "entity" that was cut in earlier versions (at the time it was just left over dev cubes and spheres and stuff nose forgot to remove) jokingly called an entity/alien, i suppose it could be an actual kind of entity now and this is what this thing is
They are, this is actually yet another reoccurring alien faction (though, they won't be story important like the others) called Geoms.
Basically, if it is a floating white geometric shape with red lights, it is probably a Geom.
