That was clever and charming! The concept and setting is cute, creepy, and engaging, and the gameplay is satisfying. It felt great slamming into the earth and creating chaos.

Playing it was fun; actually winning was unpleasant. I find the difficulty completely inscrutable; I actually downloaded the windows build to make sure I wasn't getting weird web errors.

I rarely ask to be spoon-fed information, but I had no clue how health works. There were several times when I died when I thought I had only been hit twice, making me wonder where I actually lost all that health. I was also never sure how much damage each specific tower actually dealt. I'm not necessarily suggesting a literal health bar, just more specific feedback on damage and health.

Volume settings are appreciated, but the default audio volume is a tiny smidgen loud; later parts sometimes peak above +0.0 dB.

All-in-all, good work!

Yes based on other player feedback we are gonna work on balancing the game more for player enjoyment while also trying to maintain the challenge. Visual clarity is one of the main things we're aiming to fix along with projectile speed, damage, and visual pollution. We did originally intend for the monster to shrink in size when hit, but the gameplay became more tedious than we expected, so we often for a "die upon hit route" while using debris as shields. As for volume that's a fix we are doing! Hopefully, we'll be able to get this patch out as soon as gmtk ends! All in all, thank you so much for playing and for the feedback!!
