I can only agree with previous comments, some sort of checkpoint system would be great. Maybe something a'la Jusant would fit perfectly.
I must say that I just came back from cinema and playing this game right after watching Alien Romulus definitely made me appriciate the atmosphere even more.
I wonder what the used assets specifically were, as the station looks to me a little like a scan of a GPU/PC Motherboard, which is an interesting look.
The begining was confusing and I also got "Browned", so there was some frustration, but I played through that and I am glad that I did. The jumping and catching effect worked exactly like I would expect it to work in any game set in space. It could be a part of a bigger full release and I would not know that it was made in only 96 hours.
Cheers and good luck!

Wow, thank you for this extensive review!
Funnily enough, right before starting the work on the game, we watched Alien: Romulus in the cinema, haha. We wanted to get inspired by it, so you saying that feels great.
I'll pass the question about the assets to Robin (who worked on the Environment Art part, among other things), they'll let you know.
I am also glad you said that it could be part of a bigger release. We definitely plan on polishing it, and maybe even extending it into a slightly bigger, more elaborate, game/experience.
Thanks again for playing and spending time writing this review :)
Thank you so much for taking time with writing such a great review, lots of great feedback and I'm glad you noticed the Alien Romulus inspiration, that's exactly what I was going for. For the station I used this texture by a Czech texture artist called Jan Trubač, I recommend checking him out on Art Station, he does great stuff! On top of the texture I made a simple tiling system depending on the players' distance from the object and played a bit with colors, normals and roughness which resulted in this cpu motherboard look.
