Finally an actual good and challenging game! It's genuinely impressive how the devs managed to create this in such a short period of time. It looks like all the art and assets were made from scratch (maybe the devs can confirm), which just adds so much character and ingenuity to the game. Tried finding the music online and not even that seems to be a free asset or AI generated. LOVE the levelling and how the game actually gets more difficult as time goes by. Some genuine time, effort and thought went into refining this game. There are collectibles which have a purpose other than just increasing a number, there's healing, there are buffs and power-ups that serve a purpose and aren't just for show. You can play the game in your own style by either choosing your own upgrades, which I love. It's not just a generic "spawn with this weapon and level up to this weapon" kind of game. Everything just flows together so nicely and the main robot is just so cute! Only negative remark is that the procedural animation on the spider legs give me the ick, not cause it's bad AT ALL, but because it's creepy. xD As for constructive criticism: the melee weapon looks a bit strange on such a small scale as you can't really see much of the fist detail. Thought I was beating the other robots with a leg of ham initially xD I also enjoy the auto-shooting, but sometimes I would have liked to target specific enemies that were lower health, so maybe making it so that the bullets follow the mouse cursor, but still auto-shoots would've solved that problem. Doesn't take away from the game at all though, just a nitpick.
Big kudos to the devs!

Wow, thanks so much for the comment and feedback, I really appreciate it.
Yes, Dylan did make the player, enemies, boss, weapons, sprites, world, procedural animations and the music (which absolutely slaps, look for Casis online if you want to see his other music).
I'm so glad you picked up on the procedural animations (even if they are a bit creepy xD), that was a high point for us, really proud of it.
I definitely see what you mean with the leg of ham xD And the suggestion for targeting to be based on the mouse pointer but still auto-shoot is a great idea, will definitely keep that in mind, as we are going to be taking this idea further for a fully fledged game.
I'm really glad you enjoyed the game and noticed all the effort that went into it, thanks so much
