I've run across "a few" bugs while testing out this hotfix. While you're probably already aware of some or all of them, here's the list of bugs I found that I'm pretty sure are bugs. I also have a list of ones I'm not sure are bugs or not along with some minor or insignificant bugs, but this is a long enough list already. I'll hand those to you if you'd like, but overall a fun game despite these. Keep up the good work.
- When starting a new game, the first gacha outfit gets stuck and cannot be collected. Only fix I found was restarting the game or respawning the character. Edit: It seems starting up the game in general might cause this bug. May need to test this further.
- (Visual bug) When respawning or restarting the game, the render distance option resets to the lowest setting. Or so it appears in the menu, but further testing revealed the menu is a liar.
- C button (crouch) does not work on land. Works in water, though.
- The Seadoo does not spawn when airdropped.
- The PDA's scroll is broken. Basically, I cannot hit the down arrow from the air drop option to select another option in the PDA. Instead I must hit the up arrow. The opposite is true when trying to select air drop from the option below it. I must use the down arrow.
- The Wunder's launch cannon lacks the ability to launch your character any fun amount of distance. I tested in the older build available and it definitely had a bigger launch than an on foot jump's distance.
- Related, cannot switch back to the pew pew gun on the Wunder when it has been switched to the fun launcher gun. Fixes when restarting game or respawning character.
- On the note of the Wunder, when picking up stuff from the ocean, the icon for being over an item remains on the radar until you pass over another collectable item. I noticed this bug in the older available version so it's not a new issue to this update it seems.
- After accepting a contract mission, if you use the "drop cargo" interaction on the Wunder, the arrow/finger pointing you towards your quest disappears. On that note, if it isn't a bug, then please make it so the arrow appears while using vehicles. Kinda painful having to exit a vehicle every time I want to check where I need to go. Also further testing showed the quests still can complete at least. I just have to find the location without the pointer.
- After falling off the bike via ragdoll, it won't function properly unless you get off it and get on it again. Basically, the first time you get on the bike and turn it on after crashing off of it, it won't move. You have to get back off it normally then get back on to have control beyond turning it on.
- The katana is useful, but the physics engine really doesn't appreciate it. I find that falling a certain distance results in the power of anime causing a lag spike and noclips me through the terrain and to the bottom of the world. Fun and useful for the speed boost, but dangerously effective at going out of bounds and dangerous to performance.
Anime and God are too powerful for the physics engine about ragdolling.
- The pack of beer you get from the delivery mission is buggy. It seems like it has a hitbox that extends beyond the player character's head. This I think is why I was suddenly launched to the center of a random island after grabbing it and trying to run up to the roof of the platform. It also makes it impossible to get on the Wunder as the alcoholism has the power to push the entire ship away from you. On top of that, the camera assumes the beers are a wall and make it very much impossible to see anything, but the inside of the beer bottles. Only exception is when riding a vehicle.
- When using the call interaction on the buoy near the cargo ship (close to the starting platform), the lines coming from it are obscured behind the clouds.
- When trying to take the elevator to the sky island thing, everything go wrong. I am launched into the sky above the nearby desert island, my game considers crashing, then I die so hard my character's customizations don't load properly until I go into the wardrobe. While doing it again fixed this next issue, the first respawn caused my character to be forever ragdolled on the ground after driving the Wunder. I was disembodied and could move, but the body of my character remained ragdolled. Still, answer a question of if ghosts can die I guess.
- Taking the airplane to the other map seems to bug out the character and force her into a plant position. I'm unable to move nor can I open the menu, forcing me to Alt F4 in order to escape.
I did say "a few."
