High if not max settings with no performance issues full screen.

Far as a pattern goes, not particularly. Since it's only happened twice and I stopped playing to spare my pc any damage. But when it did crash, I was doing the basics. Running around the base doing some errands. Nothing out of the ordinary.  Maybe something in my world is corrupt?

Does it actually crash the PC, or does the game itself just crash, and you aren't able to close it?

Makes it non functional, so unable to do anything other than turn it off. Even then I have to force it to by holding the button down. I'm not sure if I'm using the word crash right. No blue screen or anything like that.

And this doesn't happen with any other game?

Correct!

Strange. Have you tried lowering settings?

No actually, may be worth a shot.

Lemme know how it goes.

I'll do my best, not sure if i want to risk it though. Just got this laptop for 1.4k

Well, the game shouldn't really cause any damage, unless it is overheating specific parts of your computer, which may—or may not—be caused by the settings set to max, if it's happening at all. The game isn't the best in terms of optimization, so it is likely not a wise decision to have everything set to max. I would suggest keeping graphic settings default to see if things work from that point. If that doesn't work, it may be something else going wrong.
