Hi! Thank you for trying and sorry for the confusion.

When the white particles reach the middle, you lose stability. You have to hit them which will then expand them into a "thread", you need to follow that thread to gain stability. If you don't reach the end of the thread, you lose a large chunk though! This should be noted in the instructions but I should have definitely made it clearer. Hope you can give it another try!
