I really enjoyed this calm relaxing experience.

Art: First of all, its a beautiful game, the art and enviroment is probably the best I've seen so far in the jam.

Audio: The music fit the game well, but I wish more things had audio.

Fun: I really enjoyed my time while at home, but at work, the third time I had to start matching shapes I had enough of it already, I wish the work would have been a bit more fulfilling cause that was soul-crushing, and so slow! Just like a real work day.

Innovation: 5/5 unique I really enjoyed it.

Game design: 5/5 it's a whole experience calm, relaxing and beautiful.

Theme: Well, the theme was for me pretty hard to grasp in the gameplay, work was not stressful enough and the anxiety before going to work was not there either, I was expecting work to be more of a storm then what it was, it was very calm as well, but my ADHD just couldnt take it, it was soulcrushingnly slow but still not a storm really. Maybe the soulcrushing part counts as a storm inside of me and thats why I couldnt handle it.

I'd really like to see a longer game where there would be clearer signs of depression or more of the characters backstory.

Sorry for ranting a bit too much in my review. Well done, this game spoke to me.

Thanks for your comment! there is more audio, and a whole separate section for the office audio but there’s an issue with the audio controller for that section, we’re hoping to update when the voting is over 🥰

Thank you so much for leaving such detailed feedback! And it's such an honour to hear your feedback on the art! I'll make sure to pass this on to the other artists!

We definitely had a bit of a crunch to do the office bit, so it really didn't come off the way we wanted (The original concept was more of a warioware-type gameplay, which would have been more intense and really delivered on the storm theming).

As for the depression aspect, that was originally the plan, and we also had plans to represent this visually and through gameplay, but we steered away from it for now because of the short timeframe to make the game. If we tackle it, we wanted to make sure it was done with care, which is something that's harder to do with a short time limit. But it definitely was something we had thought about.

Depression was still a vibe I got from this game, even though the main character really seems to be getting back on his feet. I really like how you managed to express so many feelings in such a short amount of time. Well done.
