I do my best. Also make sure that your computer gets proper ventilation, including your GPU. If your GPU is overheating, then it is due to ventilation. This could be due to its fans not working, and that could be caused by the lack of updates, or a hardware fault. If it's your CPU, then yeah, the thermal paste may need the renewal, and if THAT doesn't work, make sure your computer fans are working.

Keep me posted, but so long as you're in contact with a professional, I'm sure you'll get things figured out soon. Best of luck!

Monitored the temps and the CPU got pretty spicy at a top of 94c. So I am definitely getting some new thermal paste. Gonna have geek squad do it though because it looks very complicated in there.

Always fair. Better to play it safe.

Have an update, I put on some new thermal paste and it did a fine job. However, the game still crashed as did my pc. I was looking at how the cpu temperature was handling and it was spiking all over the place, again going into the 90c range. In other apps I don't have this problem. I'm thinking it's not only heat that's the problem but a side effect of something else.

Hmm. So, this doesn't happen with any other games now?

Unfortunately, it did, I assume it was an overheat. Which I think is crashing VOTV too. However the other game has no problems with the new thermal paste. Bouncing around 50-60c

Contacted MSI, they blame the game =/

Hmm. I just want to be sure. Your computer isn't resetting when this happens, is it?

Nah just locks up, hear things just fine.

Hear things, eh? So, does it seem like the game is still running, but you just can't see it?

Correct, which is odd isn't it? However, I lose complete control and its only ambient noise and whatever background music was playing.

I'm going to try an older build later and see how that goes. I only started having this problem with the recent build.
