That was fun! The art is a little rough in places, but the fishing game is readable and the character design is quite charming. The soundtrack is proficient, and I like the use of the static drone during foreboding segments.
The mechanics are competent, albeit a little confusing. The two gameplay modes complement each other surprisingly well. I'm still not sure how the pumpkin tokens work, and I'm not sure how each monster matches up with each other; I wasn't sure how I won or lost.
The specific way the arrows flash is a little obnoxious; it could be more subtle.
My family and I love the illustrations of The Fisherman at the end! They are absolutely perfect!
