I like the card battler concept, though I wish the monsters had more than one move and an ultimate. I understand there's only so much you can do in 10 days though. I like how quirky the game is. With some extra RPG elements, I think this could become a really solid game with good replay value.

I Like the music :)
It is fun to try to get the cards from the bottom of the lake (which I asseme are more powerful for the battles), and challenging as well. The randomized positions give it variety
With some difficulty (but also fun) Got to the third fight, the Honodragon, with a Shrimpistol. Think I beat it, but it kind of softlocked. Still hear a sound when using the arrows, like the sound when changing option, but the cursor is not seen, no music and nothing can be chosen.
Maybe it's the antivirus as suggested in your page, as when I close it Avast says it's been safelisted or something like that, but not sure if the softlock has to do with that. Might give it another try later.
Really enjoyed the aesthetics. Good choice of colors, very nice music, and very well done animatics, particularly in the ending sequence.
I found the mechanics to be really hard to understand, though. I liked the idea of fishing for new cards, but it felt a bit arbitrary at points, with me having little control over the result. There were some battles that felt downright impossible, with me losing even after getting every coinflip right, which is particularly frustrating since any defeat results in losing all my progress.
I feel like there's a lot of potential here, and the biggest bottleneck right now is the conveyance of the mechanics that are already in place, but not very easy to parse.
Hi! Congrats for your entry!
You did an amazing job here : I loved every part of the gameplay, it's fast, the rythm is good, and sprites are so beautiful and goofy! I really like the sounds too!
Good job!
Gostei pra caramba, surprisingly, the fishing and the fightin really got along each other, yet i found the graphics a little too hard to identify, like in the fighting parts the monsters and the background seemed to blend together, i would add an foreline to identify better the monsters! Sound was great from effects to background music, all that together made an really good game congrats! <3
That was fun! The art is a little rough in places, but the fishing game is readable and the character design is quite charming. The soundtrack is proficient, and I like the use of the static drone during foreboding segments.
The mechanics are competent, albeit a little confusing. The two gameplay modes complement each other surprisingly well. I'm still not sure how the pumpkin tokens work, and I'm not sure how each monster matches up with each other; I wasn't sure how I won or lost.
The specific way the arrows flash is a little obnoxious; it could be more subtle.
My family and I love the illustrations of The Fisherman at the end! They are absolutely perfect!
All-in-all, great work!
Thank you for your attention and caring example. I was the one who made the arts and I thank you for the feedback.
In my defense, I had little time to do the art because I got home late, and I had to rush it, and the limitation of 4 colors didn't help much, but I'm glad you liked it, and I apologize for the art rough.
Hello, the palette is good, I would have liked an outline of a light color to better see the monsters. The combat remains simple but the music is really correct.
