Thank you for playing! Funny thing is, I am considering making a platformer down the line. Maybe with Pip, maybe a new character, we'll see.

I really wanted to include music but ran out of time in the end. XD After the jam it will be one of the first things I implement.

What was funny was that I feel I actually bit off way more than I could chew for a project with such a tight deadline. In retrospect, despite how much I love my sprites, I do think that the lower pixel count would've benefitted the work flow and allowed for more cohesion. Thank you for this recommendation too. <3

Edit: Also the dialogue speed was a problem from the start. XD I could speed it up, but the last line of dialogue was really hard to keep on the screen when it finished typing, and I was worried it would go away too quickly. In the future, I'll probably completely rewrite the dialogue system to A. speed it up and B. stop the dialogue from just disappearing on the last line.
