The visuals are nice, what font did you use? I didn't like the music at first, but it has grown on me. However, I want to go through the stages with you since I put so much effort into beating your game. So, here we go:
- Stage 1 is good; clear what to do and explains the basics well.
- My god stage 2 is difficult, the controls are just a mess. Move with AD or left/right arrow, jump with space and dash with left shift. Why not allow W and arrow up for jumping as well and also check right shift for dash? It also wasn't all that clear the player can dash upwards.
- Now stage 3 is ingenious if the player has noticed in earlier stages that the instructions are physical, otherwise they will probably give up.
- Stage 4 is not too difficult, just move the text down so that you can use it as a platform. Though, the player might think that they need to set the colour to something else or that the goal is now something else. Since they associate the blue colour with the goal, not the @.
- Stage 5 is mostly great; what you need to do is clear, but the text can easily get stuck in some position forcing the player to do it all over again. Especially if you try to move it close to the right wall, seems to be alright close to the centre of the level though.
- Stage 6 kinda has the same issue as stage 5; it's a bit of a pain to get the true text down. In my first attempt it went perfectly in one go (then died), but the times after that were hard (especially with the purple death right in the centre of the level).
- Stage 7, wait I can dash multiple times?
- So, in stage 8 you mess with the controls. They were already bad, but now the game is just unplayable. I guess that I have to go to the left and then up, but I just can't get over the little # bumb with all the purple and the switched controls.
- Stage 9 and stage 10; I don't know, didn't make it that far.
