to explain that effect it protects the very bottom of your defense so if you wore the whole set you would have a minimum of 7 def no matter what just note that the effect should actually say Increases minimum defense. this is a reported issue with the translation
So... it's kinda useless buff because 7 DEF stat won't give you much of a payoff. I mean - why would you have 7 emergency DEF stat that can't be penetrated if you can't run? It's like for example you had 20 DEF stat and take 4 injuries = 20-16 (because every DEF trauma -4) = 4 DEF, but if you have this set then your 4 DEF stat always = 7 DEF no matter what happend even if you have 0 DEF stat... buuuut just what's the point if you can't run away because your legs were broken too. Eh? On the Hell or DOOM difficulty you can't run away from the location if there is still a battle icon, the only option is a smoke bomb or smoke skill (Deep one) 7 DEF stat won't save you from a crowds of monsters if your legs are already broken, it'll just give you an extra 3 or 4 seconds to attack. The only benefit is only if you're sitting in smoke or in the bushes you take less damage... and that so.
It would make a lot more sense that you couldn't get any facial injury if you're wearing that heavy helmet especially when it weighs so much and imposes a major STA debuff while the Sex Doll Tiara has 3 DEF without any debuff... 1 defense difference seriously?
Only 3,00 speed...? Why we need this if anyone can catch up with us? It's like... 3-4 monsters and some slow people and of course undeads with very slow speed can't do that... but they just... eh... Why? Why we really need 3,00 speed don't drop buff? Well... it's probably useful if you have a few stacks of Sick... but am... you don't really want to fight or gather any food while you have only a speed 3,00 anyway.
1) Very slow to do any
2) Most weapons become usless (Or rather it's quite difficult to use them without speed)
3) Most of the tactics don't work correctly (If you're a thief/assasin it's not a big problem but just... eh... very slow)
Abomination Lona don't even need this 3,00 speed don't drop buff because Abom race has a tentacle whip that allows Abom to fly around the map even with 0,00 speed and Deep One Lona can't use it because she can't wear that type of armor... those who like stealth would not wear such armor because it's not useful and those who fight in close combat usually use a very fast type of clothing because you need to dodge attacks and strike quickly... the only option for those who play with a shield buuuut whether or not you need it if it slow your speed... i don't know.
Who's it even for then? Which class will use this very strange armor perk? Why we need this if that set weighs a lot when it's enough to just buy 2-3 red potions at the market or go to the mountains to get a root especially since you're gonna have to go to the mountains anyway because you need something to eat? It's kinda weird.
but it takes up a lot of inventory space and 3.00 speed not really good for fighting... so... this is no reason use a full set but only a Worn Cuirass which gives you extra 4 DEF stat in belt slot + and it's actually quite nice-looking. Maybe on the Doom difficulty it makes some sense.... but I don't know. I personally have never used this set in combat that often because I always have red potions in my pocket that it weighs less and heal 50 by the way it also heals head injuries which lowers magic damage and heals hand injuries which lowers physical damage which by the way this armor set can't do.
So... what do you do if you get a head or arm injury using that armor with 3,00 speed buff in fight?
