Damn, folks. 10 out 10 in atmosphere.

The sounds, the tale and the mechanics do a lot to pull you into the tension the protagonist should be going through.

Nice work with the checkpoint system, by the way. Makes the experience a lot more enjoyable.

We sadly got softlocked with the monster being right in front of the spawn point and the checkpoint played against us right there, but, given the scope of the work and the timeframe of the jam, I still think you deserve high praise!

That being said, tone up the brightness of the compass. I have old man eyes T_T.

As for the part with the softlock I assume it happened right after retrieving the crystal, right? I thought all checkpoints were far enough away from Otto's pathing area but I completely forgot about that one, sorry.

You get a like for naming the leviathan Otto. Don't worry, pal! We did like it.
