What... There's a puzzle in the school library other than typing in the reference phrase on the ritual of life page?

And Manor library. Decided I had to start a fresh run cause I couldn't figure out how to break my game-over loop. Might've F'd this run already by getting squidrabbit before grabbing the research logs for the cure :(

I haven't found out about the ritual of life yet, so probably not lol

I found a way to get rid of the squid suit.

In the level 3 lab, there's another one of those doors with the hand lock.

You've surely unlocked the other one, use that(wrench, saw)

Yeah. I already completed both routes. Explained the one to help someone out on a different thread. Each usually ends in me trying to use the spatial rift (which btw has pre-requisites, and I learned that firmware compatibility apparently gets randomized like a passcode at the start of a new save).

I also just brute forced my way through to the Outpost from the spacial rift a second time. I now have knowledge of the firmware for Site Zeta, so that'll be next. Afterwards I should have access to the firmware needed for port to Manor spawn site. Already accessed lvl4 access card and obtained the lvl4 access password for future use, less than an hour after completing Yuri's nightmare event.

lol I have no idea what you're talking about regarding Spacial Rift lol

I've hit a dead end at the game. Empty diary. Just a massive forest of random mushrooms without rhyme or reason reason to explore.

Kari found. Yuri found. And Yuri's dream experienced. I'm not smart enough to know what to do next

spatial rift is located in the lvl 3 room of the lab, but you should read the logs in the lvl 2 room to its west before attempting dimensional travel.

Is the spacial rift that red cloud?

Ive managed to get beyond that once to the room Rin is in- but i dont know what changed to run into the nightmare in there

You've gone through it to Rin's room? I haven't even done that yet. That must be the mansion's coordinates since it's the only one I have left to do. As for the flesh wall nightmare... Your hint is in the logs on the console behind the black suit.

it might have been a bug. Once I got in there I looked around a bit, but was so curious about exploring how ominous Rin is that I talked to her, she said I wasn't supposed to be there yet, and then booted me out of the dream.

I've tried to go back and just can't- I just get the nightmare

Interesting, That's exactly what she said to me when I went to the outpost the first time. But it's easy to to return there so that was probably because of the 'You weren't supposed to see me like this' vibe.

I've been re-rolling Jessica transformations so much because of the mimic chest rng. I think I'm onto a pattern... Let me know if you notice this as well while you play. Purple eyes seems to be a relatively short timer, magenta seems to last about twice as long, but red seems to just refuse to go away, while grey eye Jessica seems to only show her face once but the timer is like the red eyed variant.

hmmm ive noticed the unreliable timing. Whenever I want to keep her, she vanishes. But when I'm trying to avoid the mirror shattering with the library key, it stays.

I'll keep an eye on that

I actually intentionally got infected with squidrabbit in both my previous save, and as early as realistically possible in this current save I'm running. I discovered that wearing the suit multiple days affects hip size permanently (which is what I needed to happed for the Festival of Life ritual).

I've kind of hated this playthrough, because I got infected with the squidrabbit THE FIRST NIGHT IN THE LAB

I've spent THE ENTIRE GAME with the squidrabbit, because I can't get rid of it.

the mansion has stuff to easy remove it

"easy" might be relative here.  It isn't if you don't already know about it.  I've done everything I can think of in the mansion, and can't figure out how to progress further, let alone undo that transformation.  I've played for a minimum of 20 hours, possibly as much as 30.

At this point I'm just going to start a new save because while it might technically be possible to continue this playthrough, for all practical purposes, I've spent over a day trying to figure out how to get rid of it, and can't. I like to believe that I'm relatively intelligent, and that my experience would be at least somewhat representational of what most new players would experience. Frankly, if you get infested with the squidrabbit before knowing how to get rid of it, it's better and easier to restart the game then try to bruteforce some obscure method the game hasn't even hinted at.  And ALL progress I can think of is locked behind getting rid of it.

Edit: to be clear, this is my first playthrough.  I was infested Day 1, nearly immediately without exploring the other side of the lab.  (I was able to run from the other creatures, even past them, so why not this thing?  I didn't expect it to essentially game-endingly difficult to get rid of, let alone even semi-permanent.)

For sure, and I keep seeing people mention things that I cant replicate at all, like being able to fight the parasites
