Looks cool! The visuals and sound effects really complement each other. Did you use raycasting?
used raycasting for the enemy AI. it roams around but if it sees the player it will give chase.
for the look of it/colors. its mainly rendering tricks and just changing material colors.
for entities, its all particle emitters, forcefeilds and rendering tricks.
