Ok but why is this game actually brilliant though. This turn based system is buttery smooth, and the boss design was so much fun to plan around with. I really appreciate how bosses 2 and 3 very much force you to memorize their patterns, the struggle to beat them and the optimal play that I fostered from those two fights made the victory lap final boss feel all the better. The story is an absolute blast too and it's presented so cleanly. I seriously can't express enough how much I loved this submission!

Thanks so much! I'm really glad to hear that you enjoyed it so much. We weren't sure how reasonable it was to expect players to memorize boss attack patterns, so it's great to hear that you did that.

The game very much primes the player to keeping in mind that boss patterns are entirely predictable through the line Dr Haus says about how your enemies will always do the same things whenever you travel back in that time. In that regard that intro cutscene is a VERY clever means of indirect tutorializing
