It has nothing to do with the capabilities of the AI. The characters were originally designed as such - with a dick and no pussy. Only because it suits the developers' tastes.

As you mentioned, on Itch this is the type of body structure most often meant by futunari, and it is the “default” for us. Because “futunari” as a hentai genre is a broader concept than the medical term “hermaphrodite”.

This concept already has a genre. I have already told you what it is. The term is "newhalf." As far as most people are concerned, it's a dude with tits. The point of a genre is to define a concept so that people who it appeals to can find content they enjoy. Polluting the term with things that those people HATE is not how that works.

You don't get to call a dog a light bulb just because it's a fantasy setting.

As such, it is a common label, regardless of how the word is translated from Japanese.

And if hentai content creators widely use the word in this sense, then we see no reason to do otherwise, and confuse players who are already used to it from other games/comics/videos. Exactly because we want to give people who like this type of dick-only character a chance to find our game quickly and easily.

And by the tag “newhalf” you mentioned, there are exactly 6 games on Itch. Six, against hudrends if not thouthands with tag "futanari". So almost no one would even guess to search for our game by that tag.

So we're sorry if it's difficult for you to find content that matches your preferences, but the objective reality is that almost all creators use “futunari” to refer to dick-only characters. And almost all players use term "futanari" and not "newhalf" to search for content with dick-only characters. And therefore, we don't see the point of departing from the common designation for the sake of the academic term of the word.

That means, that "futanari" is a commonly used term for dick-only characters and almost no one use "newhalf" for that. Incredibly, words in a language change their meaning over time, and the commonly accepted meaning of a word is more important, not its dictionary definition.

There are exactly 6 games under the tag “newhalf” on Itch, same with the tag “dickgirl”. But under the tag "futanari" hundreds if not thousands games with dick-only characters can be found. Why, if in your opinion "futanari" is not used for that?

Futanari *requires* both a pussy *and* a cock. Now, the optional part is the balls, you'll see many different art of some with also called "full-package futanari" or those without. Either one of these is fine and will be called Futa, there won't be complaints there. However, no pussy and it's no longer a futa anymore.

Your post kind of also answers your own question, the other more accurate tags for it only have 6 games. Where the more widely used term has many, however, it's piggybacking off a term more people know and have certain expectations for.

My perception of "everyone" has nothing to do with LGBT and based only on Itch and other popelar websites with 18+ games, comics, etc.

And 99% of the time, it is the tag “futanari” that is used on such sites for characters with dick and tits. So, it is de facto (not de jure) non-alternative tag for describing such characters.

If you think everyone around you is an idiot, feel free to do so.

But stop bringing in things that have nothing to do with the motivation of developers to choose this or that tag, such as LGBT.

We're glad you enjoyed our game, but unfortunately development has been discontinued for the time being and it's not certain that it will ever be continued. So hopefully the current short story can keep you happy.
