I simply pointed it out because I thought it might be something worth adjusting in a future revision. I have a good eye for details and enjoy helping when possible. My goal is to contribute positively, as I appreciate the effort behind projects like this.

As a software developer of 30+ years, I would like to add that being 'nit picking or OCD' is how you fix bugs and reach a complete project. Returning to a complex project years later for an update isn't as fun as it sounds!
"A lot of effort went into getting this even more visually accurate than my previous port..." To me, this reads that pointing out the background isn't blue-morning but instead orange-evening could be extremely significant. There is no mention of this change in the release notes. As a result, I to would assume it's an overlooked bug.
Your comments were respectful, detailed, and informative. What the developer decides to do is up to them and xchester77 shouldn't be speaking for someone else.
Peace.
As developer my self i think he would know all these and like he said up there fixing these glitches is not worth the effort .. I quote ```There are a few minor differences and some edge case glitches which I decided to leave as the amount of work to iron them out really outweight the results they would bring. After all, we wanna play it right?``` SO he knows of all of them this is not the same hardware it's a neogeo ..
The palette thing on stage 5 could well be a mistake on my part. Nobody brought it up in testing so i assumed it was correct. This "might" get fixed in a later update when im not feeling quite so sick.
The feather bug is not getting fixed. I'll not go into the technical detail as to why but this was the best solution for that reveal.
