thank you for the reply. I figured as much. I wont be making the same mistake in my current play through... going in as a mage with toughness and noble background. do you have plans to integrate a party system of more than two characters? is there going to be a playable/party-able heroin? or just the pets? I've got Snuffles and Turbo the Celestial Snail, (also when I change between pets, i.e, Snail to Snuffles, I cannot summon the Snail back, is this a bug or is the mechanic not implemented yet in the game?) I wish we could have both pets in the party.

game is awesome, great mechanics and the grind is rewarding - not too easy, not too hard. and cheers for making the game free to play to the public - (coming from a pleb who cant be a patron) looking forward to the next update.

At the moment there are no plans to allow more than 2 characters in the party, both because the actor art will start to overlay the enemies on the screen too much and because it will require a lot more thought into balancing encounters. This stance may change in the future though!

I am not sure if I will allow Heroines to join your party but there are plans to let some of your kids join as minions instead.

The Snail just returns to your home when you dismiss him. You can find him loitering around outside your house in Emerald Falls. He is kind of selfish, so you will need to give him another Cabbage in order for him to join your party again.

Glad you're enjoying the game! Next update will have a new romanceable Heroine with her own quest line (at least if everything goes according to plan).

oh. okay, Im sure you will figure something out and Im sure it will be good. uhm... if you would accept my humble suggestion,  regarding the battle/encounter interface, there is this game "The Last Sovereign" by Sierra Lee, take a look at the design of the battle/encounter interface of the game, and maybe you can do something similar.

would each species of the MC's offspring have different stats? how do you plan to execute the different stats of different species of offspring?

oh, so I need to buy more cabbages and discard all my salt again. by the way, do you plan on putting a storage unit for the MC's items - it will be a bummer if I have to discard all my salt every time I party up with Turbo? Im sure you also plan on making a mechanic that would sort the items and loots via alphabetical, quantity, or even in terms of item tiers.

looking forward to the werewolf patch.

That game has been on my "to play" list for a while so I will take a look!

Stats are not hard to define for the offspring and they might depend on the stats you yourself have, so sort of like inheriting a portion of the stats. It's pretty early in the concept stage for those sorts of minions so I haven't really made too many defined decisions on them yet.

You don't need to discard your Salt when recruiting him from around your house, it's just a gimmick for the initial recruitment process.

I don't really have any plans for player storage yet. I'm not even sure if it would be possible to implement. As for Item sorting, it... is unlikely at the moment, I am not really good with Ruby Script and have so far been mostly using third party scripts. I managed to do a category type sorting for now and I do plan to take another look into possible other types of sorting but from my prior forage into the issue it didn't seem like it's something that can be done that easily in this engine.

The Last Sovereign is a good game, I plan to play it once the final version is out for the public. hehe.

do weapon passive stats stack? like the Iron Mace gives a 10% chance to stun, will equipping 2 maces make it 20%? cause if that is the case, then the leather whip is OP as fck. Im currently using it to "flinch" the life out of hostile enemies.

They stack but not in that way, the second one increases it by 10% of the first so probably it becomes 11%. I initially wanted them to stack in an additive fashion but then someone reported that it wasn't the case so states are kind of a placeholder for now until I figure out a better system for stacking them.
