Took my breakfast in front of that title screen. Is that a judging criteria? No? Shame.
Joke aside, I finished the game in hardcore, first try and blind. (I'm no stranger to difficulty in RPG Maker games.)
Don't ask me why, but the story felt more like a D&D campaign than a RPG Maker game to me. So, to me, that's fairly original and I enjoyed it.
For creativity, this is a boss rush, so we're going to judge the creativity of said boss fights. To be honest, they are not ground-breaking of originality. The final boss though is fairly interesting, but maybe I'm biased because I always liked the design of the Garuda from RPG Maker MV's RTP.
Now gameplay: this is pretty much as basic as you can get. Cast your best abilities and stay alive. However, we can appreciate the work put on the skills and the enemies are doing the work to keep you entertained during your journey. So as long as the player have fun, this is on the good side of the spectrum. Also, that's pretty minor, but I noticed state showing up on enemies during some attacks with a turn count, which is kind of strange considering they disappear right after.
In the end, I liked it. It does what a game is supposed to do. And congratulations on your challenge to do everything on a single map, we truly feel like we're visiting different locations despite maybe a few graphical problems here and there during intermissions.
Anyway, it looks like I keep pointing out problems, but I still like what you've done there and I hope to see more and better from you in the future! ^^
